the “recent” update of the “Roundcube Webmail” software (1.5.6) …
… gave me a little headache for a while.
The new default “interface skin” “Elastic” only allowed “Widescreen” as mailbox view layout, but I like “Desktop” as mailbox view better, and that’s only available with the other skins.
“Desktop” has the mail preview below the list of the mail messages. And for searches resp. their matches it shows the folders, where the matching message lives in. I find that rather important.

Thunderbird add-on: “Simple Mail Redirection”

S/MIME-support for the Roundcube webmailer
Roundcube does not do it so far, but Horde does.

e-mail: manual client-based forwarding
A redirect is an option found in e-mail clients that is similar to a forward, with the exception that the body of the text is not normally shown as quoted text. The redirected message reaches the new recepient often in a SPAM folder, supposedly because the new recipient’s software does not detect the (new) recipient as “To” or “CC” recipient and therefore regards the message as some kind of fraud.
