(Password change, \u2026)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I asked Google AI Mode: How can I check with a networking tool, whether the L2TP\/IPsec VPN server is accessible on my router?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/share.google\/aimode\/xRSb8URdEzJyjKWO7\">https:\/\/share.google\/aimode\/xRSb8URdEzJyjKWO7<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">macOS does not come with nmap. I already had macports installed. When I tried to install nmap, macports told me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Current platform &#8220;darwin 25&#8221; does not match expected platform &#8220;darwin 24&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No big deal \u2026 \u2013 I had to upgrade \u2013 it told me how to do this. &#8220;_Free_wifi_Berlin&#8221; gave me incredible bandwidth, which allowed me to do this upgrade, while sitting in the university restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is there a way to do a VPN connect to a L2TP\/IPsec VPN server on the command line, and what command line options are there?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/share.google\/aimode\/8pd9k8k5V4lKQ32IM\">https:\/\/share.google\/aimode\/8pd9k8k5V4lKQ32IM<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have 2 routers at home: Therefore I actually have 2 VPN setups.
