Son#2 (his native language is Portuguese) called me a bragger (in German: “Angeber”) last night. No, no, no, that’s not me. I taught him: the right word for what you want to say is enthusiast (my favourite word in German (with a Pentecostal background) for this: “Schwärmer”).
