academically educated I.T. workforce older than 50 years – work permits

IIRC alien academically educated workforce (at least in I.T.) beyond the age of 50 have somehow unrestricted access to the U.S. job market.

Is anybody able to confirm this?

Can anybody find me a job around Boston or NYC or Silicon Valley?
