emacs vs macOS keyboard shortcuts
In emacs I certainly use “ctrl-SPACE” a lot in order to mark a location in a a buffer. On macOS that is by default already taken. But you can change it anyway. Read the article above!

WordPress “Share this post” – how to get rid of it?
Most of the time I don’t want to share my posts on LinkedIn or wherever. It’s just their way of getting me to subscribe to a Jetpack premium service. I do understand, they need to make some money – for sure. But I just don’t want to get reminded I exceeded the number of free sharings per month. I rather don’t want to use the free sharings at all. Maybe somebody comes across this post and let’s me know 🙏

I started something new today: every (important) person will get its “open issues” file on my NAS
apart from the “open issues” file, I also keep a diary file for some people – apart from that they have “their entries” on my main diary (~/diary) of course.
